However, after long-term use, the waterproof glue will age, resulting in waterproof failure, water entering the motor, causing leakage and early failure of the motor stator winding, seriously affecting the safety and service life of the motor, and it is not conducive to cleaning during motor maintenance.
Temporary low-lying puddles, the time is relatively short, at most it is equivalent to washing with water, not the same as soaking in water, so as long as the protection level of the hub motor is above IP55, there will be no problem.
Generally, the wheel hub motor of an electric vehicle has relatively high concentricity and surface smoothness, and the bite between the parts will be ideal, and the parts such as oil seal and sealant will be used to seal the flywheel side, as long as you do not soak in water continuously for more than 10 Minutes, generally not too much water will run into it, so it will not affect the use of the motor.
