Inner rotor type: High speed inner rotor motor with fixed ratio reducer. In order to obtain higher power density, the speed of the motor can be as high as 10,000 rpm. With the advent of more compact planetary gearheads, inner rotor hub motors are more competitive in power density than low speed outer rotor motors.
External rotor type: low-speed external rotor motor is adopted, the maximum motor speed is 1000-1500r/min, no reducer, and the wheel speed is consistent with the motor speed.
